Houston Methodist hospital system's COVID-19 vaccine mandate has resulted in over 99% compliance, but some employees are suing.More than 150 employees at a Houston hospital system have been fired or resigned after the medical system implemented a mandate requiring a COVID-19 vaccine and a judge dismissed an employee lawsuit over it.
And after the suspension period ended Tuesday, 153 employees either resigned or were terminated for not completing their inoculations, a spokesperson for Houston Methodist Hospital system told the Associated Press.
Wow this is scary … what are we suppose to think about all of this
What a dumb hill to literally maybe die on.
No employment
Heroes.
Sorry but it is a PANDEMIC and vaccination is not for the individuals it is for the good of the Community! If you work in a hospital and don’t understand why you need to get vaccinated, you just shouldn’t work there… it’s sad but it’s true!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Good. Fck'em. If they can't put the patient FIRST they are in the wrong line of work. I would NOT to be served by an unvaccinated hospital worker - especially if I'm going there because I'm sick or post surgery. They can go work at a restaurant, there's a need for labor.
I bet it's the aluminum [neurotoxin] in the shot. No good reason to inject metal into the bloodstream. It's funny how long these unvaccinated workers were near patients who did NOT get worse despite the so-called risk. Makes me think this is about politics & narrative & not facts
How can so many supposedly well educated people, be so incredibly stupid
6 months ago: *NURSES ARE OUR HEROS LOL THEY MAKE FUNNY TIKTOKS IN THE FACE OF DEATH* Now: 'good I'm glad they got fired*
You talk about the 150 who didn’t vaccinate….How many did🤔…..several thousand I believe
If they refuse to be vaccinated, I wonder what other illogical ideas they carry?
Over here, we have mandatory vaccines for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, whooping cough, polio, hep a&b and half yearly flu shots for all HCW... And they're bitching about a single vaccination for A LIVE AND CURRENT PANDEMIC? Respectfully, are they OK? Really?

granny_st good- GTFO!
Yay! No one wants to be around unvaccinated nasty-ass plague rats who are so dumb they choose to be plague rats. Vaccinate, people. Y’all ain’t got polio for a reason.
So they are hiring?
You are not being forced to get a vaccine. Your hospital only hires vaccinated workers. Other employers will soon follow suit, hopefully. You don’t want protection against coronavirus? Seek employment elsewhere or stay home and sulk. Problem solved. 🤷🏾♀️
vaccine is good but people fear because of the outcomes after certain period of the wHO should teach more the benefits of being vaccinated.
Good. Get vaccinated.
The whole world could really care less about covid The really important focus is on the middle East China is a circus sideshow too
Good
People are just stupid.
Good riddance.
Non essential workers
Thanks to Trump, the country’s idiocy ballooned like never before. Common sense is slowly disappearing…
Our bodies our choice!!! It is experimental and many of us have seen Covid and have immunity!
GOOD!!!
Good. That us really a small percentage of total employees. They looked very white, very Rep. They said they wanted more research, already 600,000 dead, how long do they want to Wait? Wonder what it would have been like in the 50'/60's if we waited for more research on Polio?
Good!
Good news. They don’t belong in healthcare.
Good riddance. BTW, most hospitals have numerous mandatory vaccination requirements other than COVID vaccine and nobody says a word of protest. That very likely applied all 150 of these jerks.
Everyone has a choice, a new employer is always an option
Today in hoisted by one's own petard, Texas is a right to work state.
Easy fix….government stop paying medical bills for those getting sick; only for the vaccine. Insurance companies should raise rates unless proof of vaccination is provided. Then it’s not a mandate; it’s a choice, the American way.
These people are supposed to provide health care and yet doesn’t give a damn about themselves or whether they can spread a deadly virus? Fire them all!
Good.
