Fort Worth Como Shooting: What we know about the victims

Willis' mother, Kadesha Weatherly, said she was a few blocks away when the shooting started.Weatherly was back on Horne Street on Wednesday.The grieving mother says with the medical examiner report incomplete and the investigation still underway, she hasn’t been able to see her son’s body. Weatherly said her son graduated from high school in Arlington and worked at a nearby McDonald's after moving to the area from Chicago.

"They didn’t even let my baby make it to college," said Weatherly. "I just want people to remember his name and not just an 18-year-old-victim.""He got his own apartment. He was doing the things a young man should be doing," said Weatherly. "I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy."The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office identified one of the people who was killed as 22-year-old Cynthia Santos.Santos’ older sister spoke to FOX 4 Wednesday.

"Somehow, I don’t know what he said, but he convinced her. She changed out of her pajamas and put some shorts on and said, ‘I will be right back. Give me an hour,’" she said. "It’s a mess. My mom is a mess. My dad is a mess. I am trying to keep it together for her."On Wednesday, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner identified the third victim of the shooting as 18-year-old Gabriella Navarrete.Eight other victims in the crowd were shot but survived.

Co-workers of 36-year-old Daron Rutherford of Fort Worth tell FOX 4 was shot in the stomach and is awake and out of surgery. We still do not know a motive in this case. We are still waiting on a full update of the victims still in the hospital. All the news you need to know, every day
