FORT WORTH, Texas - The acting head of the Federal Aviation Administration said on Wednesday he does not have a specific timetable for when the agency may unground the Boeing 737 MAX that has been involved in two fatal crashes since October. “I’m not tied to a timetable,” Dan Elwell told reporters ahead of a meeting planned for Thursday with more than 30 international air regulators including China, the European Union and Canada. He said he plans to share the FAA’s safety analysis to date on Thursday, but said the agency is still waiting Boeing’s formal software upgrade and emphasized the FAA has not decided on the revised training requirements.

Do not know enough of the technical details but must be costing many airlines considerable problems because when they bought these aircraft, the revenue from their use would probably have been costed into their financial plan

Nothing more worthless on earth than an airplane--they are made to be in the air.

Ungrounding.

Please dont, before my Europe trip next week Thanks

Boeing says 737 Max update is being held up by FAA questionsThe U.S. regulator has asked Boeing to provide more details about “how pilots interact with the airplane controls and displays in different flight scenarios,' the company said in a statement Thursday. Just get Rosenstein to fly. He can land planes, apparently. That pesky FAA wasn't getting in the way during that last government shutdown. Don't give them any ideas. Well at least the FAA questions can hold the damn thing *up*

FAA chief says pilot decisions contributed to Boeing 737 MAX crashes“There are so many pieces to any accident,” Daniel K. Elwell said. “I’ve never looked at an accident where there weren’t three or four of five links in the chain, any one of which, if it hadn’t gone wrong, the plane would have survived.” Trump got to FAA. Any flight system that confuses pilots with 1000s of hours of experience is clearly inadequate. Who's manipulating BA stock price? Real easy to blame the dead man.... No pilot should ever step into another one.
