Reliever Tom Cosgrove pitches a scoreless eighth inning in Triple-A El Paso's win

Like Graham Pauley, Eguy Rosario is doing what he can to stay on the radar. Rosario doubled twice and drove in a run, helping Triple-A El Paso to a 5-2 win on Friday over visiting Albuquerque. Rosario also walked and stole his first base and is hitting .313/.421/.500 with four RBIs in four games since he was option to make room for Donovan Solano. Also optioned out for a veteran big leaguer, Pauley was 1-for-4 with an RBI. Pauley served as the designated hitter while Rosario played third base.

Frisco 4, Missions 1: LHP Robby Snelling turned in his first quality start of the season but still took the loss, as he allowed three runs on five hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out two. 1B Robbie Tenerowicz went 1-for-4 with a double, the Missions’ only extra-base hit of the game. DH Juan Zabala walked three times and drove in the Missions’ only run of the game.

TinCaps 5, W.Michigan 3: RHP Henry Baez struck out eight and allowed three runs — one earned — in 5⅔ innings in the start. RHP Francis Pena struck out three over 2⅓ no-hit innings to earn the win, snapping the team’s six-game losing streak. LF Colton Vincent went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. RF Tyler Robertson went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored. SS Nick McClaughry doubled in two runs.

Rangers 7, Padres 1 : The Padres’ only run scored on the first professional homer from SS B.Y. Choi . 1B Addison Kopack went 1-for-2 with a double and a walk. The bullpen allowed seven runs over the final five innings.
