Emaar Chairman Mohammed Alabbar had said in a interview with CNBC Arabia in July last year that the group, which is 32% owned by the emirate’s government, is seeking to sell assets beyond its main businesses. Emaar dismissed the report relating to its cooling unit. “The information is factually incorrect,” an Emaar spokeswoman said. “We do not comment on market rumors and speculation.” Standard Chartered declined to comment.
EMAAR is a company I would strongly advice against getting involved with anywhere on this planet!! Number of complains against them keep rising, and non satisfied customers are all over. They misinform people in their advertisements, trying to present a false impression of them!
The first advice should be stop deception. I’m one of their victims in Saudi Arabia. They over charge people using manipulated billing system for services don’t even exist in many cases. And their management hide behind a wall of customer services staff that don’t answer concerns
