Not a problem. Yamamoto struck out the next three batters, getting Dansby Swanson and Michael Busch on called third strikes. Ryan Brasier, Joe Kelly and Daniel Hudson carried the shutout into the ninth inning before Evan Phillips gave up the Cubs’ only run.
