Dale Rankin Named Outstanding County Extension Agent - Beef

Dale Rankin of Atascosa County has been named the 2024 Outstanding County Extension Agent – Beef at the 2024 Cattle Raisers Convention. The Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association announced on Sunday that Dale Rankin of Atascosa County Texas A&M AgriLife has been deemed one of the most desiccated educators in cattle production.

Stephen Diebel, the Second Vice President of the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, said that educators like Rankin are critical for helping land owners and advancing livestock production. “The invaluable work of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension agents like Dale Rankin help advance the livestock community,” Diebel said
