This week’s COVID-19 death count is the highest it’s been in recent memory – 850. This comes one week after the weekly death count was the lowest in weeks (625).

Daily COVID-19 hospitalizations climbed to the highest-ever figure on Monday, Jan. 10 , but then steadily fell throughout the week. Week-over-week, the daily patient count was lower on Saturday than it was the previous Saturday . That’s a decrease of 240 individuals.
