It has been nearly two weeks since fans received an update.

Colt Ford performs at Skydeck at Assembly Food Hall on August 17, 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee. It has been nearly two weeks since the country music world has heard from star performer Colt Ford, and that is not entirely unexpected.he did so from his hospital bed, and he was visibly week and soft spoken. That was no surprise because, at that point, Ford had been in the hospital in Arizona for three weeks after collapsing following a show there in early April.

That came after he called in to the Big D & Bubba radio show on April 23 to talk about what happened to him. It was not just the dying and being brought back reveal that had folks talking, though. It was Ford’s religious revelation in the days that followed. Ford, who has worked closely with Toby Keith, Jamey Johnson and Jason Aldean, has had his share of health issues. He also reportedly had eye cancer and had to undergo surgery three years ago to deal with that.
