Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Fire Country planned spinoff show Sheriff Country, which will star Morena Baccarin, has received a positive update, according to reports. Fire Country is an action drama show created by Max Thieriot, Tony Phelan, and Joan Rater. The series follows a young convict with a troubled past, who seeks redemption when he volunteers to assist California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Fire Country spinoff called Sheriff Country has now been greenlit with Baccarin set to reprise the role. However, the series won't premiere until the 2025-2026 schedule. Will Sheriff Country Be Picked Up & Will It Link To Fire Country? As Fire Country season 3 has been renewed, the show continues to grow in strength, and could even feature more spinoffs in the future. As for Sheriff Country, it's worth noting that pilot episodes can always be a coin flip, and there's no guarantee that the show will be picked up and go to series, but Baccarin's star status could be enough to see it becoming a long-term success.

If Sheriff Country is picked up, there is a good chance the show could link to Fire Country, being that Baccarin's character has already appeared in the show, and the chance of crossover episodes is pretty likely. With reports also confirming that a backup script has been written for the pilot, it is also likely that other episodes will have been scripted before the series is officially greenlit, and this means that the direction of the show could be ironed out in advance.
