Biden's younger sister, 'the Joe Biden whisperer,' is the latest family member with a book deal

The book by Biden’s long-time strategic advisor and campaign manager, who the president wrote in his own memoir has been his “best friend my entire life,” will span her experience “growing up as the only daughter in the Biden family” to her “decades-long professional career with her brother,” according to the press release.

Owens, 75, has played a significant role in all Biden’s political campaigns, dating back to his run for the New Castle County council in Delaware in 1970, and was named a senior advisor on his 2020 presidential campaign. Her book is set to be released in April 2022. Owens and Biden grew up together in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and later in New Castle County, Delaware.
