More alarming for Sanders is that less than 5% of independents who are Latino and less than 5% of voters under 35 years old have requested Democratic primary ballots, according to Political Data, a nonpartisan election data firm. Those are two of the voter groups that support Sanders the most in California.

Bernie wants to turn the US from Capitalism to Socialism. By promising free health care, free college tuition etc. he is taking away our freedom and turning us into another Cuba. Remember people, nothing is really for free, you will end up paying in someway.
I’m glad California makes it hard for independents. People voting for Bernie don’t understand what they are doing. They don’t recognize that much of what they enjoy in life is a result of capitalism and would all disappear if socialism were to be implemented. Nothing is free!
Well they are party primaries to pick the party nominee so...... why would an independent get to chose the nominee? BernieSanders doesn’t seem to understand that.
Open primaries are a bad idea. If you want to vote in a primary, register with a party. They a private organizations that should be able to make their own rukesy.

My understanding is that if you’re registered as “no party preference”, you can show up to your polling place and ask for a Dem ballot, or just take the NPP ballot. Seems pretty straightforward
