Arguing with your partner? This exercise can help, according to a psychologist:

Being in lockdown has put stress on your relationship with your partner. Even as things open up and you can get a little space, you may feel a reflexive pull to argue whenever you have any disagreement.people are approaching conflicts are damaging relationships more than the actual topics being discussed. What’s needed is a change in perspective and tactics.

Start by placing a four-sided pillow in front of you. Think of each side of the pillow as representing a different perspective. These perspectives are:Your partner and you are both right. As you sit in front of the pillow, articulate the first perspective to yourself. Then move to the next side of the pillow and articulate the second perspective. Continue to do this until you have expressed all four perspectives.

Recyclers Stuck With Millions of Uncashed Empties in Lockdown'Mom, I don’t understand the obsession you have with saving these. It’s 5 cents.' With recycling centers closed, families split over whether to toss bags of empties. We've accumulated about $150 of returnables here in Michigan.... NFW we're throwing that money away. What They better save those bottles because as soon as this thing is over can you can you imagine how much money they’ll have. People better get on board with saving empties those 5cents add up quite nicely. It's 10 cents in Michigan. And, I'm calling BS on this once again. Large stores have automatic machines that crush and smash the empties into plastic bags. Employees don't directly handle the returns. Small Mom & Pop stores are another matter. So, give me back my deposit money

Michigan Buried in a Pile of Empties Worth $60 MillionThe Covid-19 pandemic has left households with a pile of illiquid assets: empty bottles and cans with nowhere to cash them in. Collection centers are closed. Worth what amount of money when you know it is being divested to fraudulent sources...? The story of government action always leads to a second story of unintended consequences of that action. It’s always the case. Like the future “free healthcare” leading to scarcity and rationing of services, exploding costs and taxes, and long waits for “non essential” surgeries. MichiganGov Wowzer Gov, this could help a lot of food pantries
