Venus Dee Milo Beat God Zeitgeist Like It Was Nothing In The X-Cellent #5 by Peter Milligan and Michael “Doc” Allred, Zeitgeist puts his new god-abilities to the test, as he works to eliminate the X-Statix before finding a new superhero squad worthy of his divine power. Zeitgeist attained godhood after he stole a spell from Doctor Strange’s Book of Vishanti, a spell which he successfully completed in the last issue.
Zeitgeist became so strong in this issue that he could literally control the fabric of reality with a mere thought. Not only that, but he could shoot his consciousness through dimensions while maintaining a conversation in the physical plane. Plus, the spell he successfully pulled off made him stronger than even the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange, from whom he stole the spell to begin with.
Mutants Suffered A Huge Blow In Hellfire Gala, & Venus Could Help Turn The Tide Right now in the wider X-Men canon, Orchis just delivered a strike against mutantkind during X-Men: Hellfire Gala 2023 #1, a strike that effectively eliminated a quarter million mutants . Now, there are only a handful left in the world, and all of them are on a mission to destroy Orchis before the organization can cause any more damage.
