David, a 41-year-old deaf man from Omaha, Nebraska, found love thousands of miles away when he met Sheila, 31, from the Philippines, on a Facebook group for deaf singles. They dated online for two years while communicating via text messages.

Sheila’s mom, Ma Remedios, died hours after she met David. Even though Sheila was grieving, she said yes to David when he asked for her hand in marriage. Her mother’s death in their run-down house caused Sheila to be determined to give her son and herself a good life. Sheila wanted to get married in November 2023 with her whole family there. David planned on doing just that to keep his future wife happy.

David & Sheila Wait For Two Years For K-1 Visa “It’s driving me crazy, Oh My God,” said David upon understanding what the lawyers had to say. He was even worried about telling Sheila about the bad news. David called her on camera to deliver the news during a confessional. Sheila thought it was three or four “months,” and her face fell as she realized it was years. “I hope we can make it, but we will see,” said Sheila.

David Has Started K-1 Visa Process For Sheila “So you’ve actually started the K-1 visa process?” the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Tell All host Shaun Robinson asked David. Sheila will be coming to the U.S. on a fiancé visa in probably under two years so she can get married to David within three months. Until then, Sheila will be living in her home in Cebu, which David has helped fix.
