There are more than 3,000 diverse types of show at the Fringe yet body image is a recurring theme.

"Inside I suffered from what's been called Paradise Syndrome: I wasn't allowing myself to be happy. But I had two good mates who I always thought were lazier and even less fit than I was and they both died. I knew things had to change and that's why I'm in Edinburgh.

"With Facetune now such a thing this is an issue for men too but Beach Body Ready is definitely drawn from the personal experiences of Rachael Abbey, Sarah Penney and Jess Morley." Tea... with Milk is the first show at Edinburgh for the performers and writers Elisha-Grace Lawrence and Niamh Callan. Elisha-Grace says the first inspiration for the show came from watching a Thames Valley Police video on consent in relationships.Katie Greenall wants to counteract the negative stereotypes around being overweight

Martin J. Dixon is a 29 year-old comedian from London who has a solo show on the Fringe called Monster Gay. The show's mainly about what has embarrassed him about himself. Katie Greenall didn't hesitate to call her solo show Fatty Fat Fat."It's about my experience navigating the world in a fat body, using a lot of humour. *Unhealthy body image. This normalisation of being overweight and showing off your flab whilst at the same time saying there is an obesity epidemic is sickening.

Being overweight can be dangerous to one's health it should not be celebrated.🙄

Because the BBC is bound to cover it? Whilst practising backendofbusism elsewhere.

By 'eck! You don't get many of them to the pound! LMAO 😂

No mention of the 'Fat Blokes' show by ScotteeIsFat ?!?!?

The thing about fat shaming is that it works. Just look at Japan.

The judges are tied.

Because they are all woke

People shouldn't be bullied for their weight, but obesity shouldn't be normalized or promoted.

fat people: Stop eating so much for $ sake

Edinburgh Fringe has a race problemWhen a festival is not serving everyone, does not include everyone, has an issue as glaring as this, then it is failing. Who cares? Obviously not you.... how do I put this? And the point of his statement is? No-one can force non-white people into the crowd or go and live in Edinburgh or be around in the streets just so he can nod at them. If he was born and bred in this country why is he any different to all the other people?
