Residents in Glasgow 's Merchant City took to the streets this weekend for the city's ultimate clean up .
Locals enjoyed 'Red Litter Day' on Saturday morning, April 13, as Merchant City and Trongate Community Councillors came together with local residents to tackle the state of the city's busiest streets.READ MORE: Glasgow ITV 1% Club contestant wins huge jackpot share and makes historyA spokesman for the Community Council commented: “Glasgow City Council’s cleansing staff do a great job throughout the year but they need help from every single resident and visitor.
