Residents living in a road plagued by potholes have told how their homes shake as if hit by 'earth tremors' when vans or trucks hit them and say they are living in fear of a sinkhole appearing unless urgent action is taken.

The publisher added: 'My house does shake but I don't think it will collapse as the house's foundations are pretty deep. 'It's just going to be an ongoing thing. Whatever they are using it's just not working because within a week, when it rains, it's all sunk again.'
