Calling it a "human error", he said his agent had made a mistake in filling up the form and it was "not deliberate".

Could a journalist ask him, if he *hadn't* 'fortuitously' caught COVID just before the deadline, was it his intention to give the Australian Open a miss this year? From what I've seen, without that +'ve test, he wouldn't have been entitled to a Visa.

Anyone who’s travelled to a country requiring a visa knows it’s the traveller’s responsibility to complete the forms and any mistakes are therefore your responsibility. So blaming someone else for filling out a form that you should have filled out yourself just doesn’t wash.
