The NHS coronavirus test-and-trace system designed to prevent a second deadly wave is not expected to work at full speed until September or October, the Guardian has learned.
Not fond of the idea that a third party app operating on behalf of our government can track its public day and night. We would never have signed over so much of our privacy 10 years ago. What will 10 years from now look like?

The Korean track and trace system was an early evening item on the news today. I hope everyone saw it, because it’s the nearest you’re going to get to seeing a “World beating system “ Absolutely dreading what’s going to happen re Brexit.

We could’ve implemented track and trace in February. No need for test as it relies on people reporting they have symptoms. Those people could than ba traced and asked to isolate. With a 25-30% estimated false negatives it could be safer than with test

I was getting calls about a contract managing the delivery of a ‘track and trace app for a Government client’ on Monday this week. Sounded like they didn’t have people to actually deliver the app that was supposed to already be in place.
