It's one big happy family behind the counter at a new cob shop that customers are already raving about. The Pig Out Cob Shop has only been open a few days, but it's already making a good impression in Basford .
Stacey Wilson runs the cob shop, in Bagnall Road, that's part of a unit that was taken over by her father Michael, where he sells kitchen and bedrooms. The family used to have Porky's Cob Shop, in Aspley Lane, but sold the business to relocate just over a mile away. "The advantages are you all muck in together, nobody takes anything personally. You can tell people how you want things doing and it's not like a boss/ employee relationship, it's more of a friendship because you're family.
Nottinghamshire Live visited after a tip-off from workers at the Headstocks Pub, at the other end of Bagnall Road. They told us: "The breakfast tray was excellent. The new premises on Bagnall Road are second to none." Another commented: "The place looks amazing, so sleek, clean and all the ladies were super friendly and gave fantastic service. Had a cheese and ham baguette and it was HUGE and so good! But the cheesecake was OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING!"
