In all the years since David Bellamy was sacked by the BBC for being a climate sceptic I never once heard him say that he made a mistake. The despicable lowlife BBC are now reporting that he said he may have got it wrong about climate change.

David's enthusiasm for nature was irresistible - and he was a champion of wetlands especially. His interventions helped us save the Great Raft Spider and the fens in Suffolk. A great man!
What a shame! He said a few yrs ago in an interview that global warming was ‘poppycock’ and he wanted to put the other side of the argument his tv work stopped after that, would of been interesting to hear from him instead of the hysteria we get at the mo. RIP u were great 2watch

Me and my dad met him on the train once when I was a lad.. . Very friendly down to earth guy who really cared about the environment. We talked about deforestation causing flooding in Bangladesh where my family originate. Condolences to his family he will be missed 😪💔🌿

This is pure hypocrisy and cant. He was unceremoniously dropped by the BBC because he spoke views that were unacceptable not just on climate change but also because no fan of shooting or hunting he honestly recognised the invaluable contribution they make to Conservation
Oh blimey. He was at Belle Vue zoo when I went as a child. I think he may well have been the first celebrity I spotted (and recognised). Amazing person.
