A pair of shooters who killed four at a New Jersey kosher deli have been named as David Anderson and Francine Graham. NBC New York named the pair as the couple who burst into the JC Kosher Supermarket in Jersey City on Tuesday and killed a cop as well as three civilians before being shot dead by an armed SWAT team.
Anderson is said to have been a ‘on-time follower’ of the Black Hebrew Israelite movement. Members believe themselves to be descendants of ancient Israelites and may adhere to Christian or Jewish beliefs.One of the pair is said to have made an anti-Semitic post shortly before carrying out the attack.Police are still refusing to comment on a possible motive, but Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop tweeted Tuesday that CCTV suggested the massacre was a ‘targeted’ attack on the business.
