A hiker who was challenged to spend a night alone in a "haunted" Scottish bothy says he heard "unexplained sounds" such as scratching and footsteps.
According to outdoor brand Columbia, which challenged Knight to venture to Ben Alder Cottage, legend states that it is haunted by its original resident. Known by the name McCook, he was a ghillie who tragically killed himself inside the bothy. Describing his one-of-a-kind experience, Chris described hearing the sound of scratches during the night, as well as unexplained footsteps.
