Police have renewed an appeal for a missing Scots man on his birthday after he disappeared nine days ago.
Paul Taylor, now 57, has not been seen since October 17 after leaving his home address in Annan at around 9.45pm. It is believed he may have travelled from Scotland to the Carlisle area in his car, a blue Vauxhall Corsa, registration PY18 DYO. It was later found abandoned in Langwathby, near Penrith at around 8.30am on October 19.
Officers south of the border are appealing to any witnesses who may have seen the vehicle either in Carlisle area or Langwathby between 9.45pm on Tuesday, 17 and Thursday, 19 October at 3pm.
