1% and 6% are not the death rate, it's the (confirmed) case fatality rate. This is the exact term and this is the term used in the article you're referring to. The 'death rate' would be a proportion on either the full population or all infected people (including the asymptomatic)

No country will stay in a lockdown untill a vaccine is found a vaccine could take one or two years to be found.
That is junk science. Before simply accepting this idea, it would behoove one to read up a bit on how Ebola and other contagious diseases have been dealt with. Social distancing is important and necessary, but the 'wait until a vaccine' idea is not valid.
Well I'm not emerging until I'm sure it's safe. Luckily I am able to do that. I pray for those that can't. I'm so thankful for our NHS & all key workers.

A lot of people is struggling with putting food on their tables, and the government efforts in each country varies so much. At the time a vaccine is found, it will be too late and not all will be able to have access, they won't have the money for it.

uh, yes, they can. and they will. with one caveat. there may need to be isolated modified lockdown from. time to time in any given region. but with antibody testing we can roam almost freely. herd immunity with this is likely 60-70%. and right now we have ZERO data on that
People are loosing jobs and finding difficult to put food on the table come on ! We are all immune now !
Choice never ends. Every parent that ever vaccinated their kid to prevent them contracting an horrific life changing disease, every adult whose parent did this for them out of unconditional love, we all know this is the only path to take. I'm not giving this killer virus the win.
