The Met Office issued a 17-hour yellow weather warning for ice across parts of Yorkshire on Thursday lasting until 10am on Friday, January 20. Freezing temperatures have meant for treacherous conditions and chaos on roads across the region but the wintry weather isn't expected to stop just yet. Leeds Leeds will wake to a slightly cloudy morning on Friday with sunny intervals expected from 9am until midday. It will be cloudy at 1pm says the Met Office with sunny intervals returning around 2pm for most of the afternoon. The sun will come out at 4pm until sunset - it will be cloudy throughout Friday night into Saturday morning.Outlook for Saturday to Monday Some freezing fog patches Saturday morning, otherwise dry with sunny spells, but cold.
