Ibiza welcomes more than three million visitors during the summer months, pumping billions into its economy. Close to 75% of the island’s 147,000-plus population get their income from tourism, directly and indirectly – besides the fabled nightclub scene, there’s the hotels, Airbnbs, restaurants, bars, shops, taxis, and other businesses that exist because of the pull of the clubs.

Give the islands back to the wildlife

No it’s not. Depends on your lifestyle. My p-in-law lived there for decades. before air travel was even possible. Of course they had no need of lavish nightclubs & trendy beach bars. Perhaps the island will regain more of its original vibe which attracted them in the 1st place.
