He was described as a 'talented hairdresser'

A young “talented hairdresser” from Nottingham unsuccessfully tried to hide crack cocaine between his buttocks in a failed bid to conceal the wraps from the police. Nottingham Crown Court heard how after arresting Anderson Teixeira and finding the highly addictive rocks, officers then discovered a far larger amount belonging to him in an extractor fan unit at an address linked to him in Hucknall.

Jailing the defendant for four years, Judge Micahel Auty KC said: “It may well be that your primary motivation was to fund your drug habit but, in effect, crack cocaine is one of the most pernicious and wicked drugs this court sees. Those who choose to deal it peddle in misery and suffering. The prosecutor said: “He was taken to Hucknall police station for a search and officers found 12 wraps between his buttocks. There was also a property key which led to an address in Woodstock Street where two large bags of crack cocaine were stashed in a fan extractor. There is no valuation report at this stage unfortunately.”
