FoI figures from Home Office indicate that nationals of particular countries who commit crimes appear more likely to be removed

are also removed significantly more often than the overall average, the figures show. Another set of controversial Home Office chartered deportation flights to both countries are expected next month.

Speaking from a distance, and without regard to the particulars here, there is no good reason why 'disproportionate' necessarily implies 'targeting'. Lots of reasons why one group may be deported more than another.

Could it be they committed the disproportionate amount of crimes ?
