Line of Duty stalwart Adrian Dunbar has slammed ‘shoddy’ Conservative government during an appearance on Good Morning Britain, while also calling for a General Election.

But he’s not alone as even former culture secretary Nadine Dorries has said Ms Truss should call for a General Election. Ms Dorries, who backed Ms Truss in the leadership election, tweeted today that there was ‘widespread dismay’ at the prime minister for scrapping key parts of Mr Johnson’s agenda.She added: ‘No one asked for this. C4 [Channel 4] sale, online safety, BBC licence fee review, all signed off by cabinet all ready to go, all stopped.’
