Gutted. Best long haul plane in the World by miles. Hopefully Emirates' fleet of them will keep going for years.
I'd like to know how this will affect jobs when emirates (for example) have already changed the order from a380 to a330n and a350, more or less exactly the same jobs just different aircraft. Brexit is more of a risk than airbus canceling the 380.
The Airbus saga is a testimony to Europe´s failure. The plane was a way to unite European countries and every EU leaders was selling it as part of their official visits. Now no one is interested to sell it or force it on other Gulf countries, thus it collapsed, and EU to follow.
As evidence pour in of negatives from Brexit, the UK Leaders seem hell bent to do it. Airbus down, Boeing now back in the drivers sear, was that a part of the Brexit fallout? A strong Europe & strong US = strong team for democracy. Weaken EU & endanger democracy. Just saying

Sad day for Airbus but even sadder for UK as Airbus will not need manufacturing plants for components for A380 in UK, so Brexit has 1st casualty.
