TACLOBAN City - A suspected leader of the New People's Army (NPA) was killed in a joint operation of the 803rd Infantry Brigade and Northern Samar Provincial Police Office in Barangay Guba, Catarman, Northern Samar, Friday, March 6.

The government forces had with them at least nine warrants for the arrest of Nordan that were issued by Catarman Regional Trial Court Branch 19 and Allen Regional Trial Court Branch 23 for multiple and frustrated murders, robbery, and homicide. He expressed gratitude for the trust and confidence of the communities for the information to locate the safe houses of Nordan in Brgy. Malvar, Brgy. Salvacion, Guba, and San Julian, all of Catarman, Northern Samar.
