The Parañaque city government and the Department of Social Welfare and Development–National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR) signed on Friday, Jan. 27, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the prepositioning of relief good in times of calamities and emergencies.

The Parañaque city government and the Department of Social Welfare and Development–National Capital Region signed on Friday, Jan. 27, a Memorandum of Agreement for the prepositioning of relief good in times of calamities and emergencies.

Olivarez said under the agreement, about 1,000 boxes of relief goods will be given to the city government in times of calamities such as typhoon, fire, and others. The mayor said aside from the distribution of relief goods, DSWD also conducts other programs in the city like the Assistance to Individuals/Families in Crisis Situations program that provides financial, medical and other assistance to those in need.
