The Parañaque City government, in partnership with Smart Communications, will conduct a SIM card registration for three-days starting Jan. 31 up to Feb. 2 at the City Hall, Mayor Eric Olivarez announced.

The Parañaque City government, in partnership with Smart Communications, will conduct a SIM card registration for three-days starting Jan. 31 up to Feb. 2 at the City Hall, Mayor Eric Olivarez announced.He said for those who wish to avail of free assistance for SIM card registration must bring valid government-issued identification cards or any IDs with photo of the holder.

The mayor said SIM card registration is in accordance with Republic Act 11934 or the SIM Card Registration Act. Olivarez said under this law, all SIM card holders must register their mobile phone numbers within 180 days or up to April 26, 2023. He added that the numbers of SIM card holders who fail to register within the stipulated time will be deactivated.

The mayor said residents who want to register their SIM cards can visit Parañaque City Hall on the given dates.
