Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez is urging bike enthusiasts to join the “Padyak Parañaque sa Kalusugan” activity as part of the 25th Cityhood Anniversary on Feb. 13.
He said the activity is a family event to promote cycling and other forms of active transport as excellent means of commuting, increasing physical activity to prevent non-communicable diseases, reducing exposure to Covid-19, and to establish more protected active transport lanes. Olivarez said the city government will be providing two routes for those aged 6 to 17 years old and 18 years old and above.
