Ahead of the local government election, the Inter-Party Advisory Council, (IPAC), Yobe State chapter, has charged the State Independent Electoral Commission (YOSIEC) to shun partisanship and discharge its duties as required by the constitution.

Chairman of Yobe Chapter, Umar Adamu Jajere, gave the charge on Saturday, while addressing newsmen in Damaturu, Yobe State capital. 'We are also calling on the State Independent Electoral Commission to shun partisanship and discharge its duties as required by the constitution,' he urged. The chairman advised eligible voters in the state to come out en masse and vote for the party of their choice on May 25, 2024.
