USAHA kerajaan untuk membolehkan rakyat Malaysia mula mengundi pada umur 18 tahun dan ke atas melalui pindaan Perkara 119 Perlembagaan Persekutuan adalah suatu usaha yang wajar dipuji.
Ternyata sokongan majoriti ahli Dewan Rakyat khususnya 211 anggotanya kepada usul ini adalah suatu tanda muafakat Malaysia mula bergerak ke arah pengukuhan Model Politik Baharu Malaysia. Usaha mendukung hasrat pendaftaran pengundi secara automatik juga adalah wajar memandangkan ianya ternyata memberi ruang lebih besar kepada rakyat Malaysia untuk menyertai proses demokrasi ini.
Siri Jelajah Pendidikan Demokrasi Kenegaraan mesti mengisi ruang-ruang masa dan gerakan bagi membolehkan kita turut serta dalam proses mengukuhkan kematangan demokrasi negara.
