Speaker Dewan Rakyat, Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof mengumumkan seramai 211 menyokong usul itu dan tiada ahli Parlimen yang menolaknya dalam undi belah bahagi yang diadakan selepas perbahasan oleh wakil-wakil rakyat pemerintah dan pembangkang.
