New Straits Times’ Audrey Dermawan walked away with the special award for Hard News report category for her article “Waste Threat to Mangrove Forest” published on Jan 31 this year.

Harian Metro’s Zuhainy Zulkiffli walked away with the excellent award for Hard News report category for her article “Usah dera alam” published on May 26 last year. Earlier in his speech, Chow said Penang has been at the forefront for the past 10 years in green movement.
