Syrian man stabbed by elderly motel worker in Penang

A SYRIAN man suffered serious injuries after being stabbed by a 69-year-old motel worker in a brawl while they were drunk at the motel at Lorong Prangin, George Town.

According to Northeast district police chief Soffian Santong, the police were alerted about the incident at 1.25am where the 26-year-old man sustained stabbing injuries on his head, stomach and left leg.
