Ministry to study need for new disaster relief assets

THE Home Ministry will study whether the police force needs to obtain new assets for it to deal with floods and other disasters. ` Home Minister Hamzah Zainudin said the existing assets, including helicopters and boats, were found to be obsolete as well as technologically outmoded.
