Govt unaware UM volunteers attending to China students, says DPM

THE government has not been informed that University of Malaya volunteers have allegedly been required to attend to students from China who have recently returned to continue their studies in the new semester, said Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail. Explaining that the Education Ministry will be looking into the matter, she said: “University authorities must take the responsibility of providing protection to all concerned, be they volunteers or staff.
