JKNJ turut mengingatkan bahawa penyebaran berita palsu sebegini boleh dikenakan tindakan di bawah Seksyen 233 AKM 1998 yang memperuntukkan denda maksimum RM50,000 atau penjara tidak melebihi tempoh satu tahun atau kedua-duanya, dan juga denda selanjutnya RM1,000 bagi setiap hari kesalahan itu diteruskan selepas persabitan. – Gambar fail The Malaysian Insight, 16 Februari, 2020.

JABATAN Kesihatan Negeri Johor menafikan dakwaan ada kes Covid-19 di Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Ko Kuang, Skudai, seperti yang tular di media sosial, hari ini. Menerusi satu kenyataan yang dimuat naik di laman rasmi Facebook JKNJ, jabatan itu berkata kenyataan berhubung adanya kes itu di sekolah berkenaan adalah tidak benar.
