Gerakan urges government to abolish matriculation

Gerakan president Dominic Lau has urged Putrajaya to abolish the matriculation programme, and adopt the STPM examination as the standardised pathway to public universities.

that it would be political suicide to abolish matriculation, despite the programme no longer being relevant. In his statement, the Gerakan leader also listed some of Harapan's policies affecting non-Malays, including the delay in recognising the Unified Examination Certificate , public university intake and government funds for vernacular schools.

"Let us not forget that Harapan received 95 percent Chinese support in the last general election, and the"How can Harapan leaders turn their back on the Chinese in just one year after taking power? Harapan must not take Chinese support for granted," he said.

UEC from my point of view not needed. Standardize Matriculation = STPM = A levels as equivalent level before moving to local U. To many standards causing chaos.

Please la Gerakan, stay away from the affair of the nation, you are as dirty as any BN component. Besides your recipe to undermine the Malays is noted

Why you kept quiet in the past. Just go away please.

Who is gerakan? Ada kerusi?

standardize the assessment exam for Std6, Form3, SPM & STPM for each level. i.e. get Matric and STPM or even A Level go through the same assessment exam. Help Bumi in matric by providing them better teachers and place to study. Win-Win. By all means, maintain the whatever quota.

Why matriculation? Why don’t Abolish vernacular school first..

Eh wujud lagi ke parti gerakan ni 😂😂😂
