Twenty-one opposition MPs say allowing restaurants to open until their stipulated closing times will help them earn more money and enable customers to order food after 8pm.
In a joint statement, they said these outlets should be allowed to operate until the stipulated time in their respective licences. The period in which the government allowed these premises to operate, they argued, made it difficult for people to buy food after working hours. “It would also encourage the people to stay at home as they can order food even after 8pm,” they said in a statement.
When you know that restaurants will be closed after 8pm, order your food early la....that’s not an issue at all. Please la opposition......have some brain.
