South East Queensland is on notice by the Bureau of Meteorology as the lasting impacts of La Nina are expected to be felt across the state this week.

Brisbane could see at least 60 millimetres of rain this week, while the Sunshine Coast could see upwards of 100 millimetres.

The warning comes after the Bureau forecast above average rainfall for the country’s eastern seaboard this summer.
