Australians love getting ink under the skin. Three years ago, McCrindle Research found that one in five of us have at least one tattoo. But they also found 31 per cent of those people regretted getting it. The process for removal involves a laser shattering the ink in the skin. The ink fragments are then absorbed into the body’s lymphatic system and slowly excreted over a period of weeks.
