More than 3 per cent of women at National Australia Bank have taken part in the first in-house certification in cloud technology to be offered by the big four bank, drastically exceeding its expectations.
The She Builds CloudUp program is designed to give women basic knowledge and skills in cloud computing. “I’m not ready to move with one certification ... but it definitely made me interested in moving into this world,” she said. “I knew some of it, and I’d heard the language, but I didn’t really understand what it meant. It was a way for me to join a few dots together.”
