The captain of Australia's women's rugby team, Liz Patu, has been issued with a six-week playing suspension after pleading guilty to biting in a Super W clash on Saturday.

The offence normally carries a minimum suspension of 12 weeks, but Patu received the full 50 per cent reduction due to"mitigating factors and her previous good character and clean disciplinary record," Rugby Australia said. In a statement at Monday night's hearing in Brisbane, Patu expressed remorse for her actions and said that she accepted her punishment.

High speed trains work where you move massive numbers of people over relatively short distances like in Europe or Japan. The economics dont work for Aust small population and vast distance! While you can fly Syd-Melb for $80 in an hour nobody is going to pay hundreds of dollars to sit for 3-4 hours on a train!
